Arjoo and Shirath traveled from Washington DC to Paris to celebrate a very special moment in their lives: expecting their first child.

They wanted to capture this unique chapter with a maternity photoshoot in Paris, combining elegant portraits and natural moments with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop.

Preparing a Maternity Photoshoot in Paris

Before the shoot, we discussed styling and expectations. Arjoo chose a classic and elegant outfit, while Shirath wore a grey suit, creating a refined and harmonious look.

In early November, the weather in Paris can be unpredictable. We always monitor conditions closely and keep a flexible approach when needed. Fortunately, the sky cleared just in time, giving us beautiful soft light for their session.

Capturing Natural and Elegant Pregnancy Photos

We started at Trocadéro square, where the ground was still slightly wet from earlier rain, creating beautiful reflections.

During the session, we guided them through:

• Natural walking shots
• Couple moments
• Solo portraits highlighting the baby bump

At one point, we created a more intimate moment by asking Shirath to kneel and connect with the baby, resulting in a powerful and emotional image with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

Exploring Different Eiffel Tower Photo Spots

We then moved down the Trocadéro stairs toward the Eiffel Tower gardens.

This allowed us to capture a wider variety of images, including:

• Romantic couple portraits
• Soft candid moments
• Details like Arjoo’s favorite shoes with the Eiffel Tower behind

We also used a nearby carousel to add a slightly more playful and unique touch to their maternity photos.
