1. BOOKING SYSTEM

By using our online booking system, you are submitting a request for a photoshoot at your selected date and time.
The selected time slot is not final and may be adjusted slightly depending on practical conditions such as light, location, or the photographer’s previous & following sessions. A variation of up to ±30 minutes may be proposed to ensure the best possible conditions.
A time slot is temporarily reserved for 48 hours from the moment it is booked online (24hrs for photoshoots within a week).
All bookings are subject to final confirmation by the photographer. In the rare event of unavailability, we will contact you promptly with alternative options.
The session becomes fully confirmed only once the photographer validates it and/or a deposit has been received.
If no confirmation or deposit is completed within this timeframe, the slot may be released.

2. DEPOSIT

No deposit is required to reserve your time slot on the online booking page.
Once your photographer has confirmed the session details with you, a deposit may be requested to finalize and secure the booking.
The deposit is capped as follows:
– up to 50€ for 30-minute to 1-hour sessions
– up to 100€ for 1.5-hour sessions and longer

This small deposit secures the photographer’s availability and is therefore non-refundable, except in the following cases:
– strong rain where rescheduling is not possible
– exceptional global events preventing travel (such as pandemic-related restrictions or border closures)
Personal travel issues (such as delayed or canceled flights, missed trains, or personal schedule changes) are not considered exceptional circumstances.

3. RESCHEDULING & WEATHER

Weather conditions

In case of strong rain, the session may be rescheduled depending on availability.
Both the client and the photographer will make reasonable efforts to agree on a new time.
If needed, our team may assist in finding an alternative solution, including assigning another photographer.
If rescheduling is not possible due to strong rain, the deposit may be refunded.

Client rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule their session.
We will do our best to accommodate the request and find a suitable new date and time, depending on availability. If needed, our team may assist in proposing alternative options, including assigning another photographer.
If no suitable alternative can be arranged, the request will be treated as a cancellation by the client, and the deposit will not be refunded.

4. PAYMENT

The remaining balance is paid directly to the photographer.
Payment methods:
– in cash on the day of the photoshoot
– by credit card (a small processing fee applies), completed before the session

5. TIMING & SESSION CONDITIONS

Clients are strongly encouraged to arrive early to ensure the session can start on time.
If a client arrives more than 5 minutes late, the full duration of the photoshoot cannot be guaranteed.
If the client arrives after the scheduled end time of the session, the shoot will be considered a no-show / cancellation by the client, and the deposit will not be refunded.

6. PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE & DELIVERY

Each photographer works with their own artistic style and judgment.
By booking a session, the client acknowledges that:
– the final result reflects the photographer’s style
– images are not subject to rejection based on personal taste

7. IMAGE USAGE & COPYRIGHT

By booking a session, clients are granted the right to use their photos for personal purposes, including sharing and printing.
Any commercial use requires prior written consent.
All images remain the intellectual property of the photographer.

8. MODEL RELEASE & PROMOTIONAL USE

By default, the client agrees that photos may be used by The Parisian Photographers for website, social media, portfolio, promotional materials.
If you prefer your photos not to be used, simply inform us in advance, and your request will be respected. We will also ask you again once photos are edited and ready.

9. EXTERNAL CONDITIONS

The Parisian Photographers cannot be held responsible for external factors that may affect the photoshoot, including but not limited to: renovations or construction work, temporary installations or barriers, public events or private events, sport events, restricted access to certain locations. These elements are outside of our control and may impact the shooting conditions.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Parisian Photographers and its photographers take all reasonable care in capturing, storing, and delivering images.

However, in the unlikely event of photographer illness, technical issues, equipment failure, or any unforeseen circumstances that may prevent the session from taking place or result in partial or total loss of images, The Parisian Photographers reserves the right to:
– assign a replacement photographer of similar experience, or
– reschedule the session

If the service cannot be delivered, liability shall be limited to a refund of any amounts paid by the client.
No further compensation, damages, or claims shall be due.

11. GENERAL TERMS

These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law.
Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
