Eiffel Tower
Possibly the most romantic Paris couple photo spot. From the Trocadéro square, steps or gardens to the riverside, or even from the Bir-Hakeim bridge or mixed with a street angle, you can get the whole Eiffel Tower in one frame. We favor in general locations that will give you several backdrops and looks in one romantic Paris photo session.
Louvre / Tuileries
A quieter alternative with cleaner architectural lines. The Louvre’s symmetry is stunning in photos, and the Tuileries offer green space & background architecture where kids can run between shots. Best in the morning before the museum queues form. An even more quiet alternative to Louvre is the nearby Palais Royal garden, with the Buren columns as the best playground ever.
Alexandre 3 Bridge
Paris’s most romantic bridge. Pont Alexandre III delivers drama with gold statues and lamp posts. Perfect for any type of couple photoshoot (from casual to bridal). Usually less crowded than the Eiffel Tower area, but you still can include it in your romantic photos there. Nearby is the beautiful Golden Gate (entrance of ‘Petit Palais’) before the museum opens.
Parisian Vibes
NOTRE-DAME AREA:
With cobbled streets, café terraces, cute benches and lamp posts, and a romantic seine riverside, this area is made for lovers.
MONTMARTRE:
Slighthly remote from Paris center, for couples wanting something different — hilly cobblestone streets, Sacré-Cœur. Very special vibe before the tourists arrive.

If you’d like a little guidance to make the most of Paris’ soft tones and elegant textures, here are a few styling tips to help your photos feel harmonious with the city rather than compete with it.
Our most-loved couple looks often combine one “anchor” piece (like a flowing dress or a tailored coat) with simpler, coordinated pieces on the partner.
- Flowing midi or maxi dresses in neutral tones
- Tailored trousers + simple shirt or knit for him
- Coordinated 3-colour palette, not matching
- Low heels or elegant flats for cobblestones
- One accent piece (bouquet, scarf, classic trench)
- All-black or very dark outfits (flatten on Paris stone)

Best time of the day for couple photos in Paris
Lighting and crowds matter as much as location. Our two favourite windows:
Morning (6:00 –11:00 AM) is the best for Couple photoshoots in Paris
The morning golden-hour light is soft and warm, with a lot less crowds. Most iconic Paris couple locations such as the Eiffel Tower (Trocadéro and Bir-Hakeim especially), Louvre and Alexandre III bridge are usually considered ideal before 10am. The photos feel like the city belongs to the two of you. This is our most-booked slot for couples.
This being said, you still get great photos until late morning.
Just remember too that sunrise varies a lot depending on the season as well (5.45am in June, and 8.45am in December).
Golden hour / Sunset
Early evening or up to 30min before sunset can deliver cinematic shots & glowing light Paris is famous for. Works best for couples who really want this blue hour and glowing Eiffel Tower, or who just prefer a slower start to the day. In summer this means around 9 PM; in winter, as early as 4–5 PM.
We generally avoid midday (11 AM–3 PM): harsh overhead light, peak crowds, and the Eiffel Tower surroundings can feel like a theme park. If midday is your only option, your photographer will adapt with shaded locations and inside-look compositions.
