Loved by Families Around the World
★★★★★
“Angie was great with my toddler — warm, patient, lots of high fives. He wouldn’t handle more than 30 min, so she suggested two separate 30-min sessions in two locations. He was in smiles each place. All the pictures turned out beautiful.”

“The kids were a bit cranky at first, but Maud’s patience and playful approach soon had them smiling and laughing naturally. We received our gallery within a week, and the results exceeded expectations. These images will be cherished keepsakes for years.”

“We went early in the morning and although it was chilly, the lighting was perfect for photos. It is my favorite souvenir from our trip. My kids (all teenagers) loved their individual photos. Everyone was happy!”

“We did a shoot with Angie and got exactly what we were looking for. Everything was swift and efficient — from booking, to the photos, to post-edits. We ended up buying the entire album. Thank you Angie for being so patient and kind to our two little girls even when one had a hard time.”

Why choose a Paris family photographer who knows kids
A family photoshoot in Paris only works if the photographer understands that children aren’t models. Our team has photographed over 10,000 sessions since 2014, including hundreds of families with toddlers, teens, and multi-generational groups. We don’t ask your kids to stand still and smile — we guide them through movement, play, and candid moments. The result is photos that actually look like your family, not a stiff catalogue shoot.
Every photographer on our team is based in Paris year-round, speaks English fluently, and handles the unpredictable: a sudden rain shower, a toddler meltdown, a crowd that won’t clear. What you see in our gallery is what real families get — not staged, not curated to look better than reality
The Best Paris Photo Locations for a Family Photoshoot
The location sets the tone of your family photos in Paris. We recommend sticking to one walkable zone so kids don’t tire between shots. For distant locations, taking a taxi or Uber will work great. Here are the spots we know best — each chosen for a specific reason.
Eiffel Tower
The most iconic Paris family photo spot. From the Trocadéro esplanade, stairs or garden to the Bir-Hakeim bridge, or even from the riverside or mixed with a street view, you can get the full Eiffel Tower in one frame. By default, we usually favor locations that will give you distinct backdrops in one short session — ideal when kids have limited patience.
Louvre / Tuileries
A quieter alternative with cleaner architectural lines. The Louvre’s symmetry is stunning in photos, and the Tuileries offer green space & background architecture where kids can run between shots. Best in the morning before the museum queues form. An even more quiet alternative to Louvre is the nearby Palais Royal garden, with the Buren columns as the best playground ever.
Alexandre 3 Bridge
A romantic bridge with gold statues and sweeping views of the Seine. Perfect for families with older kids, teens, and multi-generational groups. Less crowded than the Eiffel Tower, but you still get a (distant) view on the Eiffel Tower. You can also combine this location easily with the Golden Gate nearby (entrane of ‘Petit Palais’) before the museum opens.
Parisian Vibes
NOTRE-DAME AREA:
Mixing cobbled streets, cute cafés & building doors, with the romance of the Seine riverside.
MONTMARTRE:
For families wanting something different — cobblestone streets, the Sacré-Cœur. Best for kids 6+ who can handle the walk. Incredible atmosphere before the tourists arrive.
What to wear for a Paris family photohoot
Come as you are — your family’s personality matters more than any outfit.
If you’d like a little guidance, Paris is full of soft tones and elegant backdrops, so choosing outfits that complement the city can help create more harmonious, timeless photos.
A simple approach many families love is to pick a palette of 3–4 coordinating tones (rather than matching exactly), and dress each person in one of those shades.
- Cream, beige, taupe, camel
- Dusty blue, classic navy, warm grey
- Soft pink, sage green, dusty rose
- One accent per person (scarf, hat, coat)
- Comfortable closed shoes for kids
- Bright logos and bold prints
- All-black or very dark (lose details against stone)
- Neon colours, graphic tees
- New shoes that might give blisters
- Matching identical outfits
Best time of the day for Family photos in Paris
Lighting and crowds matter as much as location. Our two favourite windows:
Morning (7:00 –11:00 AM) is the best for Family photoshoots in Paris
The golden-hour light is soft and warm, crowds are nearly absent, and kids are fresh. Most iconic locations (Eiffel Tower, Louvre) are way less crowded before 9 AM in every season. This is our most-booked slot and the one we recommend for families with young children. Just remember too that sunrise varies a lot depending on the season as well (5.45am in June, and 8.45am in December).
Sunset and early evening
One hour before sunset can deliver cinematic shots & glowing light Paris is famous for. Works best for families with kids aged 8+ who can handle a later session. Keep in mind that the Eiffel TOwer area is also more crowded. In summer, this means 8–9 PM — great for teenagers, harder for toddlers.
We generally avoid midday sessions between noon and 3 PM: harsh overhead light, heavy crowds, tired kids. If midday is your only option, we adapt with shaded locations and bring our full team experience to work around the light.
