Paris solo photo session

BY PAMELA

A Paris solo photo session is a great occasion to have professional pictures of yourself at the most beautiful photoshoot locations in Paris. Pamela, Paris photographer for hire at The Parisian Photographers, will now tell you why Danae’s solo photoshoot in Paris was actually a coincidence and how she planned this Paris fashion photo session:

Paris solo photo session at the Eiffel Tower

What should you do when you booked an engagement photo session in Paris but your fiancé has an emergency has to work during your romantic trip to Paris? First of all as your local Paris photographer I am sorry to hear that and are happy to help by rescheduling the photo session to another date. However if you are in the same situation as Danae and rescheduling won’t work for you, then I suggest to transform your Paris engagement photoshoot into a Paris solo photo session. That is exactly what Danae did.

She was of course sad that she would not have romantic Paris engagement photos with her fiancé. But she made the best out of the situation and have professional photos take of herself in a Paris solo photo session. Despite the sad situation for Danae, as her English speaking Paris photographer I wanted to turn her first solo photoshoot into an incredible experience. She originally had booked a 3 hour engagement photo session – so I would have a lot of time to take her to the most magical locations in Paris!

As her experienced lifestyle and fashion photographer in Paris I recommended her to take different outfits, so that she would have more variety for her solo photos in Paris and thus to make the most of her Paris solo photo session. So Danae decided for three different outfits fitting to the three different photoshoot locations we would visit for her fashion solo photo shoot in Paris.

On the day of her Paris photo session we met early in the morning at the Trocadéro Square, where we would take solo portrait pictures with a stunning view on the Eiffel Tower. Danae’s first two outfits – a long burgundy red gown and a white lace dress – looked so elegant and gorgeous and were a perfect fit for the Eiffel Tower Trocadero location. Also the light conditions and weather were perfect and we both really enjoyed that there were not many people at this location yet.

Even if Danae had never had a professional solo photoshoot before, she quickly felt comfortable in front of my camera and I was happy to help her with some ideas and guidance for poses and how to move or where to look for her fashion solo picture in Paris.

After the Eiffel Tower we took a cab to beautiful Alexander III bridge – an elegant bridge with a view on the Eiffel Tower. Even if now big clouds appeared in the sky, temperatures remained mild and it did not start to rain. So we could continue with our photo session and take many more Paris solo pictures at Alexander third bridge. Danae was really happy and had a lot of fun.

We then took another ride to Place Vendôme. Danae wanted to immortalize their trip to Paris with some pictures in front of the luxury Dior store. For this location and photos she changed into her third outfit: a very romantic and Parisian look with a flowery dress, an umbrella with polka dots and a bag full of delicious macarons from “Ladurée”. At this location I created closeup photos of their engagement rings with the macarons and I captured more candid shots of Danae. We then finished her Paris solo photo session seating on a bench together and eating the macarons – it felt like we had know each other for a long time.
